Welcome! I understand that this is the first time you are blogging (and I'm sure a first for many of your classmates as well), so enjoy the experience!
That's a good question you asked, and it got me thinking quite a bit. You can say blogging is similar to Facebook (fb) in a way. Like fb, it provides you with an avenue to interact and connect with people on the World Wide Web. Fundamentally though, my opinion is that they serve different purposes. What do the rest of you think?

A suggestion, Fang Yong, would you like to do a bit of research, say the difference between fb and blogs, or on the benefits of blogging and fb-ing, and share your findings with the class? That will definitely make for a very interesting sharing.
